    The arrested individual will have a bond set by a magistrate. If they can make bond, they are freed from jail until there court date.

  • The bond has been set, how much do I need to pay the bondsman to get them out of jail?
    In NC bondsmen can legally charge 0-15% of the total bond amount. This is the fee charged for the service. It is non-refundable.

  • I don't have the entire bond fee, can I finance the balance?
    Yes, at Carolina Bail Bonds we offer finance plans and we take Credit Cards.

  • I was told to get the person out I would need to co-sign, what is that?
    By co-signing on the bond. You are making yourself resposible for getting the defendant to their court dates. If they dont go to court. YOU will be resposible to Carolina Bail Bonds the entire Bond amount. We recommmend you only co-sign for people you really have a good relationship with.

  • Can a bondsman enter a home without a warrant?
    Yes. In NC bondsmen have authorities that police officers do not. They only have to have reasonalbel suspecion a person is in a dwelling to enter and search the premisis.

    Yes, if your tip leads us to arrest a defendant directly. We can give a reward. You can call and leave info with a secretary or ask to speak to one of the agents dirctly
